Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2019–2022 reference period). No anthropogenic activities known to promote eutrophication and cyanobacteria growth. No exceedances of regulatory thresholds recorded in the past four years. No toxic effects reported to bathers or lake users.

Risks

Possible short-duration pollution events from unfavourable meteorological conditions such as severe atmospheric events, surface runoff, water accumulation, and spills of various kinds. Possible accidental or unauthorised discharges of wastewater or polluting debris. No previous cyanobacteria proliferation events recorded. No macroalgae or phytoplankton proliferation events recorded.
