Vibo Valentia municipality, Calabria region, Italy. The bathing area is located in front of the Vibo Marina town centre.

Water quality classification: excellent. No specific active pollution mitigation measures are currently in place. Short-duration pollution events may occur from urban runoff in urban areas, with the municipality and province identified as responsible organisations.

Risks

Potential for short-duration pollution from urban runoff. Cyanobacterial proliferation has not occurred in the last 4 years. Macroalgae, phytoplankton, and potentially toxic species proliferation has not been verified.
