Limpert Bay lies along the Vale of Glamorgan coastline near Aberthaw, within walking distance of Barry. The shoreline consists of pebble and rock, with the decommissioned Aberthaw Power Station visible nearby. Access is via coastal footpaths connecting to the wider Wales Coast Path.
