Cimitero is a bathing area located on Lake Garda in the municipality of Salò, Brescia, Lombardy. The beach attracts 600–700 swimmers daily and covers an area of 4,900 square metres. The bathing area has not undergone relevant construction works or significant infrastructure changes. No uses other than bathing occur in this area.

Location

Salò, Brescia, Lombardy, on the shore of Lake Garda. One public car park and one private paid car park are available.

Facilities

Three private bar kiosks, two public showers, one public car park, one private paid car park. A designated and marked area is reserved for dogs.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is pending. The area is affected by storm overflow discharges from the wastewater system, surface and deep water releases from the sewage collector, and rainwater runoff entering the lake. No cyanobacterial proliferation events or macroalgal blooms have been recorded in the past four years.

Risks

Storm overflow discharges from the wastewater system and rainwater runoff are identified pressures. No anomalous situations are currently present.
