Beach concession with umbrellas and pedalo rental. Bicycle rental service available. Three food and beverage outlets. Chemical toilet facilities present. No animal access permitted. No sports facilities.

Water Quality

Classification status: awaiting classification. An anomalous event was recorded in August 2007 with enterococci levels of 1609/100 ml, which resulted in a temporary bathing prohibition and sample retesting.

Risks

Potential for brief pollution events from wastewater system failures and storm overflow outlets. Emergency discharges occur at both surface and depth in the sewerage system. Rainwater runoff drains to the lake. No cyanobacteria or macroalgae proliferation episodes recorded in the preceding four years.
