The bathing spot is located on the south shore of the small Lohmühlenteich lake, approximately 1.5 km west of Hohenlockstedt in a landscape conservation area. The site includes a meadow for sunbathing and a wooded surrounding area with an educational walking trail of 1000 metres in length. Entry and parking are free of charge.
