Łomżyńskie Kąpielisko Miejskie is a municipal bathing area located near Hubała bridge on the Narew River. The bathing zone has a shoreline length of 60 metres. During summer the area is used for recreation, while in winter it is used by the Łomża Walrus Club. A dedicated bus line operated by the city transports residents to the bathing area during the season.

Water Quality

Water classified as suitable for bathing based on monitoring results from 2021–2023. E. coli and enterococci were monitored regularly. Maximum permitted concentrations: E. coli 1000 CFU/100 ml; enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. One result on 22/08/2023 showed unsuitable water (E. coli 2800 CFU/100 ml); subsequent testing on 26/08/2023 showed suitable water (E. coli 91 CFU/100 ml). The bathing area received no classification in 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021.
