Lucica is a partially cultivated pebble beach located in Komiža on the island of Vis. The beach is 30 metres long and 8 metres wide with a mild coastal slope and an indented coastline. It features floating safety lines and has high bather density during the season. The average sea temperature during the season is 24.76°C.

Average sea temperature during the season is 24.76°C. Salinity ranges from 37 to 39.7 ppt. Tide amplitude is 24.3 cm. Prevailing wind is north-west.

Location

Komiža, Vis island. Accessible by asphalt road. Parking is not available. Boat docking is nearby but outside the beach.

Annual monitoring conducted year-round with 10 samples per year. Monitoring data available for 2009–2025.

Monitored annually with 10 samples per year since 2009. Final assessment periods consist of 40 samples across multi-year intervals. Water quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor ratings under EU Directive 2006/7/EZ.
