Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No discharges from wastewater treatment plants discharge into the sea. No river mouths or channels that could convey polluting sources to the bathing area.

Risks

No cyanobacterial or algal blooms detected. No cases of proliferation of potentially toxic algal strains identified. No short-duration pollution events recorded in the last four years.
