Man Haven is a small cove beneath the cliffs at South Shields, with views across to Tynemouth Priory. Access is via a series of rough, worn stone steps cut into the cliff face, usable at low tide. An old winch mechanism, once used by fishermen to haul boats up from the shore, remains at the site.
