Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The influence area is characterized by uncultivated zones with Mediterranean scrubland and seasonal residential development. No treatment network exists for wastewater; treatment plants do not conform to Directive 91/271/CE standards.

Risks

No short-duration pollution events, anomalous situations, cyanobacterial proliferation, macroalgal proliferation, or phytoplankton blooms have been identified. Animals are permitted access as there are no prohibition signs or ordinances.
