Martinšćica is a cultivated pebble beach located on the island of Cres in Croatia. The beach has a length of 550 metres and features an indented coastline. Average sea temperature during the season is 21.38°C, with salinity ranging from 32.5 to 38.1. The beach experiences high bather density during the season and is accessible by asphalt road.

Facilities

Restaurant, shower, bench, trashcan. Boat docking available nearby but outside the beach area.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually from 2009 onwards, with 10 samples collected per year (9 samples in 2009). Four-year rolling assessments also performed.

Water Quality

Water quality assessments have been conducted annually since 2009 under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Multiple assessment classifications are recorded as excellent, good, sufficient, and poor.
