Meia Praia stretches roughly 4 kilometers along the coast near Lagos, reachable on foot from the town center or by car within a few minutes. The sandy shoreline is lined with beach bars offering sunbeds and parasols for rent (around €15 for two), and lifeguards are stationed at intervals along its length. A small boat service, the Vai Vem, also crosses the nearby canal for €1 per person as an alternative to walking.
