Plage du Midi is a bathing beach located in Cannes, a French coastal city in the Alpes-Maritimes department of Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur. The beach is bordered to the south by the Mediterranean Sea. Cannes is situated 21 kilometres southwest of Nice and has a population of approximately 72,435 inhabitants with a population density of 3,691.9 inhabitants per square kilometre.
