Mielno Grodzisko is a bathing water located in the coastal waters of the Baltic Sea in the Bornholm Basin. The bathing beach was established in 2023 and is situated at the entrance to the beach on Kościelna Street in Mielno. The water has been assessed as suitable for bathing following the summer season of 2023.

Location

Mielno, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Koszalin County. Located at the beach entrance on Kościelna Street. Hours of operation are 9:30 to 17:30.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone, waste bins, toilet, WOPR lifeguard flag mast, lifeguard on duty, information board. Prohibition on introducing domestic animals.

Season

29 June 2024 to 30 August 2024.

Water Quality

Water classification: unclassified in both 2023 and 2024. Water quality assessment: suitable for bathing. Monitoring results from 2024 show E. coli levels ranging from 15 to 156 colony-forming units per 100 ml and enterococci levels from 7 to 45 colony-forming units per 100 ml. Maximum permitted concentrations are 1000 colony-forming units per 100 ml for E. coli and 400 colony-forming units per 100 ml for enterococci.
