Mining Badesee is approximately 40,000 square metres in size and originated in 1972 from gravel extraction operations that continue today. It is a groundwater lake located in the settlement of Gundholling. A portion of the lake has been developed as a bathing facility covering about 6,000 square metres, while another section is used for fishing.
