Location

Located in the Miribel-Jonage area near Lyon, France. The water body is associated with the Rhône river, the Miribel canal, and the Jonage canal. The managing authority is Grand Parc Miribel Jonage, Chemin de la Bletta, 69120 Vaulx-en-Velin.

Water Quality

Bathing water quality is classified as good. Multi-year bacteriological monitoring has been conducted. No major contamination sources were identified through pollution source analysis. Water quality assessment includes monitoring of cyanobacteria, macrophytic vegetation, organic micropollutants, water temperature, jellyfish, rodents and Leptospira bacteria, waterfowl and duck-associated parasites, and amoebae.
