Poland Lake 1 - Excellent

Moczydło is a bathing beach located in the Nielisz water reservoir within the Nielisz municipality. The beach offers water sports facilities including kayak and water bike rentals, windsurfing school, motorboat tours, and banana boat rides. A wooden pier and floating pontoon are available for water access.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025: Excellent. Monitoring results from 21 August 2025 show E. coli at 15 jtk(NPL)/100 ml and enterococci at 3 jtk(NPL)/100 ml, both well below regulatory limits. Historical data from 2016–2025 shows predominantly excellent water quality, with occasional unsafe periods caused by cyanobacterial blooms (2018, 2023, 2025) and decomposing mussels (2022). Maximum permissible concentrations: E. coli 1000 jtk(NPL)/100 ml; enterococci 400 jtk(NPL)/100 ml.

Risks

Cyanobacterial blooms have occurred in late June and early July during some years (2018, 2023, 2025). Dead mussels were present in water and along the shoreline in 2022.
