Kronthaler Weiher is the largest bathing lake in Erding district with a water surface of 227,972.67 square metres, covering more than 22 hectares. It attracts up to 8,000 guests on busy summer days. Water quality has been classified as excellent based on a seven-year assessment from 2010 to 2020. Monitoring results from 2017 to 2025 consistently show the water is suitable for swimming with no objections.
