Water quality classification: Excellent. Identified pollution pressures include river mouths (important) and diffuse mining sources (very important). An adequate modelling approach for short-duration pollution events is under study.

Short-duration pollution events are being studied with regard to modelling approaches. Mining diffuse pollution sources have been identified as very important pressure factors.
