Nethertown Beach lies along the coast near Carne Beach and Harbour, The Nunnery beach, and the Carnsore wind turbine park. The beach is largely flat with rocks and boulders at both ends and within the tideline, and seals are sometimes visible on the rocks. Headland walking routes connect the beach to the Coombes near the wind turbines and to Carne Harbour.
