Neusiedler See at Mörbisch is a very shallow steppe lake covering approximately 320 square kilometres. More than half of the lake's surface is occupied by reed belts several kilometres wide, interspersed with numerous channels.

Neusiedler See (Neusiedl Lake) is a shallow steppe lake with an area of approximately 320 square kilometres. The lake has significant seasonal water level fluctuations dependent on precipitation and evaporation. The largest surface inflow is the Wulka river with an average water discharge of slightly more than 1 cubic metre per second.

Location

Mörbisch, located on the Neusiedler See in Burgenland, Austria. The bathing site is designated as Seebad Mörbisch.
