The bathing site is located on the south coast of the island of Föhr. The beach section in front of the town of Wyk, at the level of the children's home, has limited parking options but is easily accessible by bicycle or on foot. The shallow beach is particularly child-friendly. Water sampling is conducted at two monitoring stations.
