Oberuckersee is a natural lake located approximately 12 km south of Prenzlau in Brandenburg, Germany, at the northern edge of the Schorfheide-Chorin biosphere reserve. The lake was formed by glacial activity approximately 20,000 years ago and covers 618 hectares, extending 5 km in the north-south direction and approximately 1.3 km in width. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 28.5 m and is classified as excellent in bathing water quality.
