Hjälvik is a large bathing beach on the western side of Öckerö island in Öckerö municipality, located in a bay on the Bohuslän coast. The beach features extensive grass areas and a strip of sand and small stones leading to the water. It averages 200 visitors per day and is exposed to westerly winds. The beach includes both sandy areas and rock formations suitable for swimming.
