Lanterna is a cultivated beach in Crikvenica with a wavelike coastal shape and a length of 770 metres. The beach surface is predominantly pebbly with concrete structures in some areas. It features both low and high vegetation and is classified as a town beach with high bather density during the season.

The beach holds Blue flag status. Water quality has been classified as excellent. Annual monitoring has been conducted since 2009 with 10 samples per year. Final assessments cover multi-year periods with 40 samples each.
