Water quality classification: Excellent (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022). Most recent assessment on 21 August 2025 rated water as suitable for bathing. E. coli maximum permitted concentration: 1000 CFU/100 ml. Enterococci maximum permitted concentration: 400 CFU/100 ml. Monitoring data shows E. coli and enterococci levels consistently well below permitted thresholds in recent years, with one exception on 21 August 2023 when enterococci reached 615 CFU/100 ml, resulting in water being unsuitable for bathing.
