Ostrowite

Poland Lake 1 - Excellent

Ostrowite is a bathing beach located on Lake Ostrowite in the Pomeranian Voivodeship near Czerska. The beach has a sandy bottom and a shoreline of 60 metres with a maximum lake depth of 8.20 metres. The bathing area is situated within a Natura 2000 protected nature zone. Water quality has consistently been classified as excellent over multiple years of monitoring.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2017, 2016). All monitored samples have been classified as suitable for bathing. E. coli maximum permissible concentration: 1000 CFU/100 ml. Enterococci maximum permissible concentration: 400 CFU/100 ml. Recent monitoring on 29 August 2025 showed E. coli at 10 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci at 11 CFU/100 ml.
