The Ostseebadestrand is located on the western coast of Fehmarn near the Wallnau bird sanctuary and extends from Flügge to Bojendorf. The 8.5 kilometre long beach has a large campsite with corresponding infrastructure and recreational facilities. Parts of the beach are DLRG-supervised during the season.
