The Großenbrode bathing beach is located on the Baltic Sea coast approximately 1 kilometre north of the village of Großenbrode, west of the B 207 road, and below the Baltic hotel complex with weekend houses. The beach is subject to regular water quality monitoring as part of official bathing water surveillance.
