A bathing beach located approximately 7 km northeast of Eckernförde on the Baltic Sea in Eckernförde Bay. The beach is situated at the Hohenstein camping site, which provides the necessary infrastructure. Smaller lakes in the area are also noted as an amenity.

Location

Approximately 7 km northeast of Eckernförde, at the Hohenstein camping site on the Baltic Sea. Parking is available at the campground.

Facilities

Facilities are provided by the Hohenstein camping site.

Season

Official monitoring results were recorded on 20 May 2025, 12 June 2025, 7 July 2025, 29 July 2025, and 19 August 2025. The bathing site is currently open.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored and classified for the years 2019 through 2024. Detailed water quality assessments and bathing water profile information are available in separate documents.
