Hohwacht Kurstrand is a Baltic Sea bathing beach operated by the municipality of Hohwacht. It is located on the southwest coast of Hohwacht Bay, approximately 7 kilometres northeast of the city of Lütjenburg. The beach offers infrastructure and recreational activities including sailing, windsurfing, play facilities, and pedal boats.

Hohwacht, approximately 7 km northeast of Lütjenburg, on the southwest coast of Hohwacht Bay.

Facilities

Infrastructure for recreation is available, including sailing, windsurfing, play facilities, and pedal boats.

Season

The bathing area is open for the 2025 season. Monitoring occurs from May through August.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored and assessed annually from 2019 to 2024. Monitoring results for the 2025 bathing season were recorded on 22 May, 12 June, 3 July, 30 July, and 25 August 2025.
