Kellenhusen is a gently sloping sandy Baltic Sea beach that is 1.2 km wide and situated in an idyllic bay. The beach is monitored by the DLRG and offers good infrastructure including restaurants and shops. Two sections of the beach are designated for dogs. An extensive forest area nearby is a notable feature.
