Oyter See is a 23-hectare inland lake located directly at the Bremen East motorway junction (A1/A27). The lake was created in the 1930s as a result of soil extraction for motorway construction. It measures 1 kilometre in length, 130 to 400 metres in width, and reaches depths of up to 14 metres in its western section. The bathing area is situated on the eastern shore, where a campsite is also located.
