Pebble Beach lies along a secluded bend of the river near Ripon, covered largely in pebbles with areas of grass. The freshwater stretch is used for swimming, angling, and stone skimming, and is accessible by a 20-30 minute walk from Ripon due to parking restrictions on the private land nearby. Visitors are asked to take their rubbish with them, as no bins are provided on site.
