Písník Mělice is a gravel pit lake in the Pardubice region of the Czech Republic, located at an elevation of 213 metres. The lake has a surface area of 0.435 square kilometres and contains no surface inflow or outflow, being recharged by groundwater. Mining activities at the site have ceased. Water quality is classified as acceptable based on microbiological indicators, with occasional cyanobacteria presence but low chlorophyll-a concentrations and high transparency indicating minimal algae bloom risk.
