The Louvarel leisure base bathing zone is an artificial bathing area located in Champagnat, managed by the Communauté de Communes du Canton de Cuiseaux. The bathing basin has a capacity of 12,950 cubic metres with a maximum depth of 1.8 metres. It has been operational since 2002 and is part of a 50-hectare leisure area. Sand beaches of 10 metres width extend around the perimeter of the bathing zone, except along the dike separating it from the main water body. A pedestrian circuit allows access around the water body.
