Planka is located on the island of Rab, within a bay accessible by boat, on foot, or by bike. The shore consists of rocky terrain near the entrance, transitioning to a sandy seabed a few meters into the water, with sections of pebble stones along the coast. The bay serves as an anchorage point for boats, which frequently gather in the area, and reaching it on foot involves a lengthy walk.
