Water Quality

Classification: Excellent. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations monitored from 2008 to 2010, with results consistent with excellent water quality classification. No historical contamination recorded. Adjacent shellfish production zone GAL 08/01 Ría de Muros-Noia classified as Zone B with no recorded incidents.

Risks

Short-duration contamination risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events: not significant. Localized discharge risk: not identified.
