Water Quality

The water mass has poor ecological status. Microbiological monitoring shows E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations. Historical classification shows no recorded contamination incidents. The adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 11/04 Ría de Vigo) is classified as Zone B with no identified contamination.

Risks

No significant risk from occasional discharges associated with rainfall events. No localised discharge risks identified.
