Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations remained within excellent classification ranges during 2008–2010 monitoring periods. The adjacent shellfish production zone GAL 08/03 (Enseada de Muros) is classified as Class C.

Risks

Yellow alert risk identified for short-duration contamination from occasional discharges associated with precipitation intensity. No localized discharge risks identified.
