Maritime coastal water body. Length 940 metres, width 20 metres. Located in the Costa da Morte water body within the Galicia Costa hydrographic district.

Location

Camariñas, Coruña province, Galicia, Spain. Coordinates: UTM 29N 485050 X, 4779303 Y (European Datum 1950).

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The water body is in good status according to the Galicia-Costa Hydrological Plan proposal. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations show consistently low levels across monitoring periods 2008–2010.

Risks

Windy bathing conditions. No significant short-term contamination risks from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No localized discharge risks identified.
