Water Quality

Water body status is classified as good. Microbiological monitoring shows excellent water quality classification based on E. coli and Enterococcus concentration data from 2008–2010. No historical contamination records identified for this bathing zone or adjacent shellfish production area (GAL 01/06-1 Ría de Viveiro EXT, Zone B).
