Water quality classification: Excellent. E. coli and Enterococcus monitoring conducted from 2008 to 2010 showing concentrations within excellent thresholds. No pollution antecedents identified historically. Shellfish production zone GAL 01/09-2 Ría O Barqueiro adjacent with no antecedents in zone B.

Risks

No short-duration contamination risks identified from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events or localized discharges.
