Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations monitored from 2008 to 2010. Water body status is good according to the Galicia-Costa Hydrological Plan.

Risks

No significant contamination risks identified. No occasional discharge risks from precipitation events. No localized discharge risks identified. Adjacent shellfish production zone GAL 10/04 Ría de Aldán (External) has no antecedents of contamination.
