Location

Mañón municipality, Galicia, Spain, in the locality of Bares. UTM coordinates: 606699 X, 4847384 Y (European Datum 1950, UTM 29N).

Water Quality

Water classification: Excellent. E. coli concentrations and Enterococcus levels monitored from 2008 to 2010 show compliance with bathing water standards. Water body status classified as good according to the Galicia-Costa hydrological plan proposal.
