Playa Beluso is a 327-meter-long maritime bathing beach located in Bueu, Pontevedra, Galicia. The beach is 6 meters wide with a sandy composition and calm water conditions. It experiences high visitor numbers and is classified as an urban beach.

Beluso, municipality of Bueu, province of Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain. UTM coordinates: X 516655, Y 4686889, European Datum 1950 UTM 29N.

Water Quality

Water quality classification based on microbiological parameters. E. coli and Enterococcus concentrations were monitored between 2008 and 2010. The shellfish production zone adjacent to the beach (GAL 10/05 Ría de Pontevedra Port B) has no historical contamination records.

Risks

No significant risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No significant risk from localized discharges.
