Cala d'Hort is a natural sandy beach on the island of Ibiza in the Balearic Islands. The beach is 146 metres long and 15 metres wide with a gentle slope and fine sand. It is a free-access recreational bathing area with daily use and medium visitor traffic, primarily attracting non-local users. The beach has good pedestrian access and good vehicle access with parking available.

Natural bathing water. Length 146 metres, width 15 metres, gentle slope. Currents are present. The water mass code is EIMC01M2, located between Punta Jondal and Cap Mossons.

Located on the island of Ibiza in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, Balearic Islands, Spain. The beach has good pedestrian access and good vehicle access with parking available.

Water Quality

Annual classification: Excellent for 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Water status 2007-09: Good. Water status 2018-19: Good. Water status 2022-23: Good. Accumulation of floating waste is very low (2019-2021) to low (2022). Short duration contamination episodes (<72 hours): 1 in 2020, 0 in other years. No exceptional duration contamination episodes (>72 hours) recorded.

Risks

Occasional jellyfish risk. No phytoplankton or cyanobacteria antecedents recorded. Identified pollution sources: septic tanks and vessels.
