Cala Llonga is a natural bathing beach on Ibiza in the Balearic Islands with a fine sand bottom and gentle slope. The beach extends 200 meters in length and 100 meters in width. It experiences medium visitor traffic and is used primarily for recreational purposes by non-local swimmers.

Free-flowing bathing water with a gentle slope and fine sand substrate. The water body is identified as EIMC06M4 mass of water, located between Punta Blanca and Punta des Andreus.

Location

Located on Ibiza in the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río in the Balearic Islands. Good pedestrian access and vehicle access available. Parking is good and disabled access is good.

Facilities

Lifeguards present. Toilets available. Showers available. Disabled access available and good. Beach flags used.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent in 2019 and 2020; Good in 2021 and 2022. Water state assessed as Good for 2007–09, 2018–19, and 2022–23. Waste accumulation levels were Low in 2019 and Very Low in 2020, 2021, and 2022. No short-duration or exceptional pollution episodes recorded between 2019 and 2022.

Risks

Jellyfish occur occasionally. No phytoplankton proliferation history. No cyanobacteria proliferation history. No currents, whirlpools, or rip currents.
