Water Quality

Water body status classified as poor. Microbiological monitoring shows E. coli and enterococcus concentrations tracked from 2008 to 2010. Historical classification shows no contamination antecedents. Adjacent shellfish production zone (GAL 10/06 Ría de Pontevedra Raxo/Marín) classified as Zone B with no contamination antecedents.

Risks

No significant risk from occasional discharges associated with precipitation events. No localized discharge risks identified.
